Dell XPS 15 9560 isn't the first in the line of the Dell XPS 15 series. Last year dell released the Dell XPS 15 9550 PC which shows great smilarity with the 2017 9560 model. Since last year's Dell XPS 15 shows great smilarity with its 2017 successor, what improvement did Dell make over the 2016 Dell XPS 15??

Talking about its design, there is no difference between the 2016 and 2017 model (9560 and 9550). This laptop possess and alumimium chassis. On one side of this laptop you will find its charging port, a USB 3.0 port, a Full sized HDMI port, micro USB type-c with thunder bolt support, and a head phone jack. On the other side you will find another USB 3.0 port, and an SD card reader slot.

The I/O on this laptop ain't so great being that you are offered just two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, you will only be able to use just two devices that supports USB 3.0 at a time.

Opening the lid of this laptop you will discover an almost bezeless 15.6 inch touch screen IPS display. Something here to note is the fact that this is a 14 inch laptop with a 15.6 display as a result of its almost bezeless display. This laptop is powered with an Intel core i7 kabylake processor 7700HQ 2.8GHZ,an upgradable 16GB of ram (DDR4 ) with both ram ports occupied 8GB each.
For storage a 512GB PCIe express SSD was employed.
And for graphics there is a Nividia Geforce GTX 1050 graphics card soldered to the mother board on this laptop.
This laptop possesses a 97WHR battery which is very close to the 99WHR battery limit placed on laptops.
An amazing fact is that you could actually swap this 97WHHR for a smaller battery which gives you the ability to add a slot for a two and half inch HDD storage.

Is this laptop perfect? Not really. More USB 3.0 ports would have come in handy, a new design would have been highly appreictated and also a well positioned speaker would also have been appreciated.
